I was standing in line at dairy queen and I saw an elderly lady crying because she didn’t have enough money to pay for her small blizzard, so I bought her a large and helped her out to her car, and she cried and said ” I hope god made someone just for you out in the world so that they can treat you as special as you are” and I am sobbing right now.
“I am not saying life is easy, but I have learned that trying to find at least one good thing in your life and focusing on that thing, can help you get through your worst nightmares.”

Today my thoughts and prayers are with the beautiful Muchaila. I wanted to share this voice recording because I wish the whole world could have known him.
He was my age yet so many years wiser , entirely selfless and so full of music that even up until the very end he couldn’t help but let it pour out.
My dear friend Anya brought her guitar and we sang river together in the hospital around 2 weeks before he died. This was the last time we saw him and I am forever grateful that we were able to share this moment with him. It was difficult to get through the song but I felt so strongly that it had been written for that precise moment , for him.
The world has lost such a beautiful spirit. He left us too early but his memory and inspiration will stay with me always.
Rest in peace Mitch and sing your heart out.
Love with all you have today cos all you have may be gone tomorrow.
